The Whittier Fire left a trail of devastation, completely destroying Camp Rancho Alegre and The Outdoor School, both of which have been invaluable resources for outdoor education and Scouting activities. Beyond the physical destruction, many staff members who lived on-site lost all their belongings, leaving them to rebuild their lives from scratch.
